No Alibi Rally 2004

Rainier Auto Sports Club presents an early summer touring rally in the Pacific Northwest.  Bring out what you love to drive and challenge your driving and navigation skills on paved and unpaved roads while viewing beautiful vistas of the Cascade Mountains, Columbia River, Snake River and arid agricultural region of Eastern Washington. No Alibi spans two days and almost 600 miles of the finest backroads. This event is suitable for beginner or novice rallyists.

Date: June 19-20, 2004

Rallymaster: Kirk Simons

A Note From The Rallymaster:

Yet another No Alibi rally is in the past. The rally couldn't of had better weather. Even the dusty conditions were minimal due to a slight breeze on both days allowing us to view a land full of multicolored flowers dotting the country side, the hop fields, pea fields and wheat fields and lets not forget the breathtaking views. I hope everyone enjoyed the rally, I know I did even after all the work that Terry and I and several other club members put into it. It was really great to see the returning teams from past No Alibi Rally's and to meet the new teams that came out to run the event for the first time. As I do every year, I definitely want to thank all of our workers and this year there were a lot of them. It couldn't have turned out this well without them. Thanks again, and I hope everyone has had a safe journey home with some good rally tales under their belt.

Thanks To The Workers:

What Do I Do Now??

We hope you enjoyed No Alibi?  Isn't driving on gravel fun? Here are the events we put at the top of our list for this year.  You'd probably enjoy them too:

  • Golden West 2004: A new rally based in Yreka, California Golden West 2004 will run in the hills and mountains of Northern California and Southern Oregon. Saturday will also run late, until nearly midnight, giving you a chance to test your driving lights. This 300+ mile, two-day event is featured as Round 2 of the Pacific Coast Challenge.  July 17 and 18, 2003
  • Night On Bald Mountain: A brisk one-day gravel TSD rally running on the unpaved forest roads of the Washington Cascades. Round 3 of the Pacific Coast Challenge.  October 2, 2004.
  • Totem Rally: Challenging two day event starting and ending in the interior of BC. Uses many famous stage rally roads as part of it's route. Can be a tough fall event with a good chance of finding snow. November 13/14, 2004.

Pacific Coast Challenge International Rally Series:  No Alibi 2004 was not part of the PCC series this year.  No Alibi and Night On Bald Mountain alternate years as the Washington PCC event.
