A simple two-hour trap rally starting at Eastgate Park and Ride. We used the parking garage for registration due to rain and wind. A 10 mile odometer check transit took rallyists East on Interstate 90, off at the new Sunset interchange and a loop on the Issaquah Highlands before setting them off on their first leg south out of Issaquah. The first checkpoint was just off Tiger Mountain Road, the second checkpoint in the park in Ravensdale, the third checkpoint was near Lake Morton and the Druids Glenn Golf Course, the fourth checkpoint was under the 277th Street overpass on Green River Road. A fifth checkpoint was planned but aggressive security guards at the wrecking yard near the checkpoint attempted to ram the checkpoint crews with their truck so the location was abandoned. Finish was at Godfathers Pizza on Auburn Way in Auburn. Discussion and socializing was unusually lively with scorecards posted on the wall as they came in which enhanced the conversation. There were 19 entrants and two did not finish.
