Rainier Auto Sports Club January 1999 The Wishbone Alley Gazette
At the January meeting there was only 7 members present. This was the shortest meeting that I have ever been to. There were no minutes read, Treasurers report indicated that we still have money in the bank, with no outstanding bills. Terry Simons reported that we are sending out 90 copies of the WAG. Which is a little to many, so we will be reviewing the mailing list to see who we can remove and what we can do to get the cost down. We got the cost down by $25.00 a month by finding a new copy place. Terry Simons is looking into buying her own copy machine. Hope this might help. Agenda Items: 1. NWR Club Rally event Scheduled on Feb 13 /14 Doo Wop I and II. Mark Nolte is a Stage Captain for this event. Mark is looking for people to help. 2. Raindrop Rally: Mark Nolte indicated that he would do the route, if someone would volunteer to do Registration, Scoring, finding a start and finish, and typing up the route book Welcome back Roy Ward, we really missed you. Roy has been speaking with Paul Appel about a possible Wenatchee Rally . Paul has found some roads starting in Wenatchee all the way to Spokane. We are going to see if we can match up some roads from the Puget Sound area to Wenatchee to see if we can put another rally on this year. What to do think? Also I would like to make a correction from my last newsletter. I reported that Peter Linde had paid his membership. It should have been Welcome to Peter and Constance Linde. Congratulation on your Wedding. We wish you all the LUCK in the world. VIDEOS will be shown at the next RASC Meeting VIDEO will be shown Before and After the meeting. Need Workers for Doo Wops, Valentines Day
Welcome to 1999. The Divisional PRO series resumes on Valentines Day weekend, 2/13 – 14. Vince Plancich has scheduled himself to be out of town that weekend, so I was nominated to be the Stage Captain. See NWR Region News for a copy of the schedule. We need two Road Marshals for each day last year – and I seem to recall we added a 3rd on Sunday. Please send me some good rumors, I’ve emptied the 1998 "Rumor" file.
