The Wishbone Alley Gazette
Oregon Trail (60% National)
52 teams started, something like 32 finished. No injuries. Nice event.
Not much interest shown by RASC members.
April Friday Nighter
Tom Palidar and the Torque Steerers club did a rather long (70 miles?) rally out near
North Bend/Snoqualmie. Tom said he was pleased that his little traps caught up a few
complacent teams. He also "broke in" 6 novice teams.
The Simons¹ won SOP; Rod and Phillis Johnson took 3rd. Steve Willey/Eric Horst garnered
3rd Unlimited/9th O¹erall in the Rover
June Club rallys
Simpson has approved use of it¹s roads, and the June 10/11 weekend returns to familiar
roads.
What with all the RASC folks going on to other activities, this may be the first local
stage rally in decades without a "RASC Crew".
Alcan 2002
Jerry is about to post entry forms and details on the 2002 Alcan summer event. The route
will be Seattle, Quesnel, Hyder, Skagway, Yellowknife, Dawson Creek, Jasper.
